Vice President, Linamar Innovation Hub
Agostino is the Vice President of Linamar’s Innovation Hub where he plays a pivotal role to boost Linamar into emerging markets with new products. The Innovation Hub is Linamar’s venue for collaborating with businesses, universities, governments, entrepreneurs, and the vast talent within the organization. He leads a team who are focused on developing new technologies such as Carbon Fibre Hydrogen Storage, Thermodynamic Heat Pumps, and Medical Equipment projects. Linamar Corporation is a diversified global manufacturing company with 30,000 employees, 60 manufacturing facilities, and sales totaling almost $8B.
Agostino has held various roles in his 16 years with Linamar. In his recent role as Director of Engineering, he helped Linamar win over $2.5B. Agostino serves on the Advisory Board of the National Research Council (NRC) and is a Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng). Agostino completed an Executive Master of Science (EMTM) from the Lazaridis School of Business at Laurier University and holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Waterloo.
